Geophysical surveying at the Aylen project, optioned by Latin Metals Inc. (TSXV: LMS), has defined 3 targets of at least 1km in length.
The targets show geophysical signatures and structural trends similar to the epithermal silver-gold mineralization hosted at the neighbouring and formerly productive Martha Mine.
Previous rock sampling has identified high-grade silver mineralization at the outcropping Estero Vein, which confirms that the epithermal system and associated precious metals continue onto the Aylen Project.
Rock samples taken at Estero returned consistently anomalous gold values between 0.11g/t and 0.57g/t as well as silver mineralization peaking at 470g/t.
Latin Metals has conducted ground magnetic surveys over more than 66km at Aylen, which is part of the Deseado Massif.
The firm is actively seeking an option partner to fund exploration drilling at Aylen.
