Chile’s regional environmental evaluation committee (CEA) authorized Los Andes Copper (TSXV: LA) to launch a four-year drilling campaign at its Vizcachitas copper-molybdenum porphyry project.
The company will now proceed with a workplan that includes infill drilling within the PFS open pit, drilling to extend the higher-grade mineralisation to the north of the Preliminary Economic Assessment pit, and to test the prospective geophysical targets identified in 2020. The permit allows for 350 holes on up to 124 platforms.
