Location of the Uru and Conejo discoveries

Initial rock chip assays from the Uru discovery, announced by Max Resource (TSX.V: MXR) at its César North target area in May, returned high-grade results at 15 sites along a 4km strike length.

These 10m channels host grades higher than 1% Cu, with maximum values of 5.7% Cu and 14g/t Ag.

The Uru mineralization is hosted in a stockwork within igneous host rock that crosscuts sediment-hosted stratabound mineralization.

Max Resource has identified five potential deposits along the 80km stretch of the César North zone. The firm is now engaged in second phase exploration at Uru and the 1.6km x 0.6km Conejo site discovered in March.
