Luna Roja mineralization in northwestern Nicaragua

The Luna Roja project is based on a gold skarn deposit in northeastern Nicaragua, and forms part of the strategic alliance between Royal Road and Hemco, a subsidiary of the Mineros Nicaragua group. It belongs to a region nicknamed the Golden Triangle, which has produced some eight million ounces since mining began in the early 20th century. Hemco also owns and operates the Bonanza mine, approximately 26 kilometers northwest of Luna Roja. Royal Road and Hemco completed an initial exploration program of 17 drill holes at the site in 2019. The most promising results include LR-DDH-3, 49m @ 2.8 g/t Au including 22m @ 5.3 g/t Au; LR-DDH-12, 49m @ 2.4 g/t Au, including 18m @ 5.4 g/t Au; and LR-DDH-016, 69m @ 1.5 g/t Au including 15m at 2.5 g/t Au.
