The company’s report describes the results from an analysis of 334 rock samples from a breccia mineralization and from veins mined by artisanal miners. These results include 14.5 ppm Au, 43.5 ppm Ag and 7117 ppm Cu in samples taken from area A of the project, and 4.5 ppm Au, 15.5 ppm Ag and 1377 ppm Cu from area B. The company emphasized the similarity between this deposit and the Cangrejos project, also in Ecuador, as well as a clear correlation between the observed gold and copper grades and the intensity of sulphides.
