Hole 46 intersects new feeder breccia system

Turmalina Metals Corp. (TSXV: TBX) reports that Phase 3 deep drilling at its San Francisco project has identified a new breccia complex adjacent to the San Francisco de Los Andes (SFdLA) breccia pipe.

Phase 3 is targeting zones 100m to 400m below Phase 2 drilling, which consisted of 22 holes (4653m) during 2020.

Highlights from the first six holes of phase 3 include:

  • Hole 47: 17m @ 4.33% Cu, 0.64 g/t Au & 108 g/t Ag
  • Hole 43: 35m @ 1.99% Cu, 0.79 g/t Au & 150 g/t Ag

The new breccia is a low-grade and quartz-rich ‘feeder’ assemblage that characterises the source of these tourmaline breccia pipes, and raises the potential for further sulphide-rich breccia pipes, as well as a strong possibility of other blind sulphide pipes in the vicinity.

Furthermore, recent mapping has identified numerous high-priority mineralised breccia pipes that will be drill tested in the coming months.
